Short Description / Tagline
Cornerstone of Hope is a center that offers children, teens and adults grief services at the time of the loss of a loved one.

Cornerstone of Hope is an amazing nonprofit organization that works with grieving children, teens and adults at the time of the loss of a loved one.  Sadly, the majority of these losses involve trauma or sudden tragedy. This is not too hard to believe, when in Franklin County alone we know of a 47.3% increase in accidental overdose over prior year. And regarding suicide, statistics show us that the entire state is up 33% over prior year. These are just a couple of many brutal statistics available!

The majority of our services are individual, couples and family counseling. These services are essential for those suffering the untimely death of a parent, grandparent, child or sibling.  Our clinicians offer clinical services at minimal cost and with a sliding scale. Our intention is to never turn anyone away who is in need of counseling.

We also offer a variety of adult and children’s support groups. For 10 weeks we offer “closed” group sessions beginning with a light dinner, all for no cost. Our in-school support groups are offered during the school day to more than a dozen school systems around Columbus. These support groups are totally free to the school system if there is a sufficient number of children experiencing loss.

Columbus also offers a number of children’s overnight and day camps throughout the year, as well as family workshops and seasonal memorial programs.
